The hidden persuaders

Adverts are all around us.Be careful of advertisement!Many of them try to make us want something or persuade us to buy things which we don't really need!

My name is Emma.I work for an advertising agency which design advertisements for magazines and TV.A company asked me to design a poster to advertise some bubble gum for them.The makers thing that their bubble gum is very exciting because it glows in the dark!No other bubble gum does this.The company is very pleased with the advert which I made for them.

I have called the bubble gum GlowBlow.I think it sounds good because it rhymes.

I decided to aim the advert at children.

We all like new things so I put the word NEW in a star on its own.

I finished the advert with a rhyme to encourage you to go out and buy some GlowBlow straight away!
